This piece was created because of my love for the Portland Bridge.  Every time I leave Middletown, CT I wait at this stop light and sit in a trance at the magnificent site that is in front of me. This 24"x 24" painting was created using oil paint, acrylic paint and paper on wood.

wicked beauties

While working all summer in beautiful and exotic gardens I learned that each flower is unique and some although beautiful can be dangerous to the touch.  I found it interesting that even though these flowers have such an attraction they can be wicked at the same time.  This gave me the idea of creating my own series of wicked flowers.  In the end giving me the opportunity to be creative with my artwork. Free to create my wicked beauties.  Each original 4.25" x 5.5" piece contains 14 karat gold ink on natural fibered card stock.  $25 each.
