Exploring the Mountains in Jamaica
The green mountains of Jamaica brought emotions of amazement and wonder. The school children, in their blue and khaki uniforms, waited patiently for their bus to arrive is a moment I tried to capture.
The school children made me think of my own school years wearing maroon, white, and gold plaid jumpers and skirts. It made me question the differences between going to school in Jamaica vs. United States.
Prints are now available on my Etsy shop.

Interaction in Sepino Market
Visiting my family in Sepino, Italy reminded me of the simple pleasures in life that many people have forgotten in their busy lives. For instance, walking with my twin sister, Jennifer, through windy dirt roads searching to find a small haven to eat Prosciutto sandwiches and sip on a cold large Peroni beer.
The market during the day and night brought two different atmospheres. During the day the many wives left their house to buy supplies for their home. Husbands gathered at the cafe to discuss the world's economy and especially the worth of the euro compared to the dollar. Watching the men and the women of Sepino interact with one another brought stories and images that needed to be seen.
